MCEA is awaiting a response from the City on our questions regarding the ability and extent to which employees can divert payment from the retirement and voluntary separation programs that are being offered to a 401k deferred compensation program. MCEA has been pressing City management for this information. Once MCEA has some definitive answers the plan is to have a joint labor-management meeting with interested employees.
